Workshop - How to design control rooms with user-centred design ?
Designing control rooms that actually work !
Large-screen interfaces in control rooms handle complex, data-heavy environments. But effective design requires more than creativity, it demands a deep understanding of users, their tasks and their context.
Join our #LDIH hands-on workshop to learn user-centred design (UCD) for large-screen interfaces.
What you’ll experience :
- Live demonstration of a hospital logistics control room from the COVID-19 pandemic
- Hands-on work with tangible tables in LIST’s cognitive environment lab
- Design and prototype your own hashtag#security control room interface
- Use LIST’s prototyping tools for multi-display and large-screen interfaces
Who should attend :
UX designers, engineers, production and security managers working with data visualisation, control rooms or collaborative systems.
Thursday 26 march 2026 from 9am to 1pm at LIST Maison de l’Innovation, Belval, Room 136.
