Join Manon Loison, head of marketing @ LHoFT and InFiNe.lu for a conversation with Bram van den Bosch, CEO and co-founder of EMATA a Ugandan fintech conpany facilitating farmer financing in East Africa thanks to a digital and affordable financial solution which simplifies the cooperative day-to-day operations.
EMATA, focuses on making farmer financing right ; tackling a huge paradox in Africa where agriculture accounts for 80% of employment and 30% of GDP but only 3% of lending.
EMATA is the winner of the accelerator programme CATAPULT : Inclusion Africa 2021 designed by the LHoFT Foundation.
