Improving the working conditions of employees by providing them with more flexibility or enhancing their daily mobility has become a necessity to remain an attractive employer. The commuting mobility and the workplace flexibility employees benefit from can be seen as two sides of the same coin.

Allowing staff members, for example, to arrive later/earlier at the office means they don’t have to deal with traffic jams and thus enjoy a faster car ride to their place of work.

To help employers adopt the mobility and flexibility management solutions of the future already today, Sabina Guerero (The Job Tailors) and Dr. Francois Sprumont (Movesion Luxembourg) are organizing a mobility & flexibility management training.

It is vital to improve the mobility and the workplace flexibility of employees in companies, large or small. While the well-being of employees might be one reason, more and, more companies are adopting mobility & flexibility management strategies to reduce costs (e.g., facility cost) and to increase their productivity.

As matter of fact, the implementation of a combined mobility & flexibility strategy can lead to great returns on investment (ROI). Companies can expect a reduction of their facility costs (parking for instance), their staff turnover, their training cost, and absenteeism…On the other hand, due to better work conditions by implementing said strategies, productivity is expected to increase by 5%.

As the outcome of the training, participants will be able to develop the backbone of a mobility and flexibility strategy in their own companies. Participants will also be able to distinguish what is essential when developing a mobility & flexibility plan and what is accessory or superficial.
