Job Summary

Join us as a Strategic Ecosystem Developer and play a key role in expanding Terra Matters’ influence and reach in the DACH, Benelux, and UK markets. Your mission is to identify, engage, and integrate Terra Matters into strategic sustainability ecosystems, positioning the PCDS as a cornerstone of the circular economy. By building strong partnerships with industry networks, associations, and key stakeholders, you will create opportunities for awareness, lead generation, and business growth.
In addition to ecosystem development, you will contribute to business growth by nurturing relationships with potential customers and converting them into long-term partners. You will also monitor regulatory trends and funding opportunities, ensuring Terra Matters remains at the cutting edge of the circular economy. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, excels at building relationships, and is passionate about driving sustainable change.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ecosystem Development

Identify, map, and engage with sustainability ecosystems in the DACH, Benelux, and UK regions, including associations, networks, clusters, and industry groups.
Develop and implement strategies to integrate Terra Matters into these ecosystems, fostering partnerships that enhance visibility and credibility.
Represent Terra Matters at industry events, conferences, and meetings to build relationships and promote the PCDS.
Collaborate with partners to create success stories and case studies that showcase the value of the PCDS.

2. Business Growth

Engage with potential customers, including manufacturers, consultants, and procurement actors, through targeted outreach and relationship-building.
Support the sales cycle, from initial contact and product demonstrations to negotiation and closing, in collaboration with the business development team.
Work closely with the product team to refine the PCDS based on customer feedback and market needs.
Track and report on progress in ecosystem integration and business development activities.

3. Strategic Watch and Funding

Monitor developments in ISO and CEN standards in the field of circular economy and assess their impact on Terra Matters and the PCDS.
Provide insights to the product and management teams on regulatory changes and industry trends.
Identify and pursue European funding opportunities (e.g., Horizon Europe, Eureka) aligned with Terra Matters’ strategic goals.
Lead the preparation and submission of grant applications in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

4. Collaboration and Feedback

Share insights from ecosystem engagement, business activities, and regulatory monitoring with product, marketing, and management teams.
Contribute to the development of Terra Matters’ commercial and product strategies based on field experience.
Ensure alignment between ecosystem development efforts and Terra Matters’ overall mission.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Experience and Expertise

5+ years of experience in ecosystem development, partnership management, or business development, preferably in sustainability, tech, or industry sectors.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including associations, industry groups, and corporate partners.
Experience in B2B engagement, with a strong understanding of sales cycles and pipeline management (familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM tools is a plus).
Knowledge of sustainability ecosystems in Europe is highly desirable.
Basic understanding of ISO/CEN standards or experience with European grant applications (e.g., Horizon Europe) is appreciated but not mandatory—training will be provided.

2. Languages

English : C1 level – Required for international communication.
German : B2/C1 level – Essential for engaging with stakeholders in the DACH region.
French : B2 level
Dutch or Luxembourgish : Considered an asset.

3. Soft Skills

Strong interpersonal skills : Ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Autonomous and organized : Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pragmatic and results-driven : Focused on delivering high-impact outcomes.
Passion for sustainability : A genuine commitment to driving positive change in the circular economy.

Package : competitive 12 months base salary, annual performance-based bonus, meal vouchers, 30 days paid vacation, home working flexibilities after trial period.
