Space Planner – Pall Center Food Retail (m/f)
The position of Space Planner is a new function within the Pall Center Food Unit who will need to support the Head of Marketing Food in terms of translating the brand, format and commercial strategy to optimise the space utilization in the stores.
The Space Planner will play an essential role in developing the most optimal category shelf plans and by making use of the space management software he/she has to design the concrete planograms (in cooperation with the category managers).
The position will require a commercial mindset and effective stakeholder management skills and will report to the Head of Marketing & Formats - Pall Center Food Retail.
Key responsibilities would include :
- Develop category specific planograms ;
- Responsible for planogramming process – meaning among others :

o Develop Year Planning ;
o Coordination process regarding the review, construction, optimization as well as
implementation of planograms ;
o Ensure Space Management Database is and maintains up-to-date ;
o Develop / Initiate proposals concerning the planogramming rules going forward ;
- Analyse range performance from planogram perspective ;
- Recommend Category Managers / Logistics concerning improvement opportunities from a planogram perspective ;
- Coordinate with external suppliers concerning shelf materials ;
- Responsible for keeping track on planogramming / shelf material investments and their return ;
The successful candidate ideally has experience and/or affinity with retail and space management / planogramming. Experience with space management software is a plus. He/she must have clear passion for retail & commerce, and must be able to lead planogramming projects with the different stakeholders. He/she needs to have good analytical skill. Furthermore, the role requires good stakeholder management and communication skills and the person would need to be organise, flexible and results-oriented. The ideal candidate must be able to speak English, French & Luxembourgish.
