Task Responsibilities :

  • Support the Data Protection Unit with developing operational aspects of the data protection program, such as the register of processing activities, DPIA and DSAR processes.
  • Assist in the documentation, investigation, notification if data incidents and breaches occur.
  • Conduct data protection assessments and reviews, assessing the company’s operations and processes to determine data protection risks, providing data protection legal advice and support in the scope of projects with data protection implications.
  • Assist in planning, organising, developing and reviewing compliance training and communications initiatives, updating and maintaining records, and compiling reports.
  • Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of corporate policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Compliance department, as may be required from time to time, with carrying out compliance monitoring activities, due diligence activities (KYS/KYC/KYT), consultation desks, investigations following the instructions received from the SR Manager Compliance or the Chief Compliance Officer.
  • Provides reports on a regular basis, and as directed or requested, keeps the Compliance Department and senior management informed of the operation and progress of compliance efforts in the company.
  • Provides statistics and reports in respect to the data protection consultations, reviews and other activities, Compliance consultation desk, KYS, monitoring, as needed.

Essential Requirements For The Position :

  • Masters degree in Law.
  • A first experience related to data protection is considered as an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Fluency in written and spoken English ; any other language is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to transform complex topics into clear and engaging material.
  • Creative mindset, with an eye for visual design.
  • Team player, flexible and willing to work on a variety of topics.
  • Basic understanding of compliance key regulatory and legal requirements is an advantage.
  • Proven experience delivering training and/or giving presentations is an advantage.

Working Conditions :

  • Permanent, full-time position, based in our HQ Luxembourg.
  • Occasional travel may be required within the Cargolux network.
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection.
