F4A is a dynamically growing, Luxembourg based startup, expanding into new markets in 2022. F4A was established in 2018 with the aim of reducing food waste on a food retail level. Thanks to its tech solutions, F4A promotes close to expiry date products at a discounted price and optimizes the food supply chain. In other words, F4A helps you find discounted close-to-expiry products that are listed in our partner stores. F4A is a simple and user-friendly way to get involved in the fight against climate change, save money and delight your taste buds at the same time.
Overview : We are looking for a Junior Business Developer to join our team. The core mission of the role is to help us meet customer acquisition and retention targets and support sales activities and the Sales Lead in building strategic customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in business development or account management or is eager to learn.
The candidate should be passionate about the environment and combating food waste and comfortable in a dynamic and high paced work environment. The role is based in Luxembourg.
Core Responsibilities
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets under the supervision of the Sales Lead of F4A
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting client relationships by understanding their needs
- Responsible for client satisfaction and client retention
- Responsible for merchandising and display maintenance to maximise in-store visibility and revenue
- Monitor sales performance and maintain sales records based on sales goals
- Assist in the presentation of sales and revenue reports to the management team
- Resolve issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust in a timely manner
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and the competitive environment
Must-have requirements :
- BA or higher preferably in sales & marketing or management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an instinctive ability to build and nurture relationships with customers (B2B, B2C, internal)
- Outstanding mastery of English, French and/or German. Any additional language will be considered as a plus
- Excellent organizational and project management kills
- Self-starter with a positive attitude
- Strong ability to solve problems in a timely manner
- Exceptional customer service and strong negotiation skills
- Environmentally conscious attitude, a commitment towards a greener future
Nice-to-haves :
- Proven experience as a junior account manager or as a junior business developer/sales representative
- Ability to speak any CEE language our Luxembourgish
- Experience in a startup environment
- Experience working with Hubspot
