Manager/Senior Manager - Assurance Services (m/f)

We are looking for individuals to join our dynamic team in our Assurance business in Luxembourg. The Assurance business forms part of our wider Audit and Assurance function, and due to our exciting growth we want to speak with people who have a passion for finance and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

You will apply core finance and accounting knowledge in an advisory context to assist our clients in enabling the success of their finance function. Our projects, which span a wide range of industries, include :

  • Providing practical and pragmatic accounting solutions.
  • Improving the effectiveness and performance of finance functions, and finance processes.
  • Supporting clients during disruptive events (large transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, divestments, etc.).

As a result of the diverse nature of the work you will often find yourself working with other professionals with tax, corporate finance, risk, and consulting expertise. You will have the opportunity to genuinely help our clients, and make a real contribution as we grow by bringing your point of view and energy to the team.

Your next challenge

You will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas :

  • Lead the successful planning and execution of projects
  • Drive market and eminence initiatives, including development of new service offerings and marketing campaigns within the practice
  • Build strong client relationships, internal networks and play a significant part in new business proposals
  • Collaborate effectively across Deloitte functions to deliver on client needs
  • Develop and lead timely communications - both internal and external - relevant to our professionals and client
  • Develop materials for and participate in the delivery of presentations to clients and firm personnel
  • Effectively manage engagement teams and mentor and develop junior members
  • Contributes to the growth of the team by creating a talent experience that attracts, develops and retains talents
  • Displays a keen interest in industry trends and is able to identify opportunities

Your skills

  • Be in progress of completion of a professional qualification (IRE, ACCA, CPA, CIA, or other)
  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships
  • Display proven knowledge in IFRS and Lux GAAP, any other norms are considered an asset
  • Solid experience with the documentation and review of business processes and the identification of key controls
  • Sound understanding of industry specific regulatory requirements
  • Strong operational skills - Ability to translate the “what is required” into the “how it’s done”
  • Problem solving - Ability to “find it” and “fix it”
  • Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management accountabilities
  • Interest or experience in technology as driver for change
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
