Summary :

Join us as a Circular Economy Projects Leader to spearhead strategic initiatives supporting the implementation and relevance of the PCDS. In this pivotal role, you will manage high-impact circular economy projects, identify and secure funding opportunities, and engage with standards organizations to ensure the PCDS is recognized and adopted widely. This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of the circular economy, influencing key stakeholders, and making a tangible difference in sustainability practices both locally and globally.

Responsibilities :

Horizon Europe Projects Management :

  • Manage the implementation of the already acquired Horizon Europe calls showcasing the relevance of the PCDS for the circular economy.
  • Coordinate project activities, ensure timely deliverables, and maintain communication with project partners.

Funding and Grant Acquisition :

  • Identify new Horizon Europe calls and other funding opportunities to support the PCDS initiative.
  • Prepare and submit grant applications, including all necessary documentation.
  • Develop additional use cases to demonstrate the effectiveness of PCDS and secure additional funding when applicable.

Luxembourg Operational Support :

  • Lead the deployment of the action plan for making the PCDS relevant in Luxembourg.
  • Organize meetings, manage stakeholders, ensure deliverables are met on time, and maintain the project timeline.
  • Monitor and ensure seamless communication by reporting on project progress.

Standards and Regulatory Monitoring :

  • Participate in ISO/CEN working groups to advocate for the PCDS.
  • Monitor regulatory developments related to sustainability and the circular economy to ensure PCDS remains compliant and relevant.

Qualifications and Skills :

Core Competencies :

  • At least bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years minimum experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in managing projects.
  • Familiarity with funding/grants mechanisms, particularly EU Funding.
  • Understanding of circular economy principles and sustainability standards.
  • Knowledge of the Luxembourg ecosystem around sustainability and its main actors.

Collaboration and Communication :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English. Knowledge of Luxembourgish and German is an asset.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and lobbying skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Collaborative, easy to work with, and good team spirit.

Package : competitive 12 months base salary, annual performance-based bonus, meal vouchers, 30 days paid vacation, home working flexibilities after trial period.
