Task Responsibilities :

The position holder is in general accountable for the accomplishment of following tasks :

Perform the Shipping, Receiving function

Receiving

By offloading incoming trucks
By working in conjunction with Receiving / Acceptance ensure that priority shipments are processed without delay
By scanning and maintaining a log of incoming shipment dates, ensuring oldest shipments are processed in due time
By inspecting packages for signs of shipping damage
By opening and unpacking shipments
By Copying certificates
By controlling Part numbers, Serial numbers and quantity’s in adherence to the shippers invoice and the Cargolux order
By entering the receiving data into the TRAX system
By copying and distributing invoices

Shipping

By loading trucks
By controlling the state and quantity of shipping boxes and packing material
By controlling Part number, Serial number and quantity of parts received for shipping
By packaging parts for shipment in accordance with Cargolux standard
By labeling packages to be shipped

Undertake general Material Control duties

By maintaining filing records
By maintaining the work area and its surroundings in a clean and orderly state
By working closely and maintaining good relationships with connected departments
By assisting as required in associated departments

Essential Requirements For The Position :

Secondary technical education, accomplished apprenticeship in a technical field or equivalent
Be customer focused and have a co-operative attitude
Have good communication skills and able to work with a team
Fluency in written and spoken English, French would be considered as a distinct advantage
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point and Outlook)
Hold a valid B class driving license. A C class license would be considered a distinct advantage
Have experience or at least an aptitude in forklift driving. Training will in any case be given and test passed
The Position Holder must achieve clearly defined tasks, goals and results
Being responsible for the adherence to all internal procedures when performing his/her duty and must use best practice at all times

Working Conditions :

Full-time position
Position based in Luxembourg
Flexibility of working hours is required
Temporary contract for 8 months
A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment
