Cabo Verdean official delegation visits LuxSE

As part of the official programme of the state visit of Cabo Verde to Luxembourg, the Cabo Verdean delegation, accompanied by HRH Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, visited the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) today.

HRH Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg, HE President of Cabo Verde José Maria Pereira Neves and the members of the official delegation attended a presentation about the core activities of LuxSE, with a specific focus on the exchange’s work in the field of sustainable finance. The presentation was led by Alain Kinsch, President of the Board of Directors of LuxSE, Pierre Schoonbroodt, CFO and Member of the Executive Committee of LuxSE, Carlo Houblie, Commercial Director at LuxSE and Laetitia Hamon, Head of Sustainable Finance at LuxSE.

Last year, LuxSE and Bolsa de Valores de Cabo Verde (BVC), the stock exchange of Cabo Verde, entered into a partnership focused on sustainable finance developments in the island state. Cabo Verde is a pioneer in the field of the blue economy and BVC established its Blu-X platform for sustainable debt instruments in November last year.
