Business Relationship Manager – Decarbonization and Energy Transitions (m/f)
Luxinnovation, Luxembourg’s national innovation agency, is looking for a Business Relationship Manager – Decarbonization and Energy Transitions (m/f) to join its National Business Relationship Management Department.
As a Business Relationship Manager – Decarbonization and Energy Transitions, you will contribute to foster the initiatives linked to the decarbonisation and energy transition, one of the main pillars of the European and national strategies.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include :
Inspire
- Organize and lead collaborative workgroups on strategic decarbonisation and energy transition topics.
- Provide expert insights and contribute to the organization of events.
- Stay informed on market trends and regulations, european and national, to guide organizations with a forward-thinking strategic approach.
- Support marketing and communication efforts to highlight Luxembourg’s innovation ecosystem and leadership in green transition.
Evaluate
- Understand companies’ innovation needs and assess how Luxinnovation’s services align with their requirements.
- Present a clear and complete Luxinnovation service path, offer tailored Luxinnovation services or connect them with other support providers.
- Help companies access funding, R&D collaborations, and adoption programs in supporting the decarbonisation and energy transition of the organisations.
Connect
- Develop and lead a network by connecting organisations, research centers, and businesses to foster innovation and collaboration.
- Facilitate strategic partnerships by linking companies with the right decarbonisation solutions and ensuring effective service delivery through client relationship management (CRM).
- Build and nurture relationships by ensuring ongoing engagement, satisfaction, and a clear overview of all ongoing activities through continuous follow-up.
- Enhance collaboration by connecting stakeholders and aligning ecosystem services.
Support
- Strengthen engagement with companies to enhance their access to decarbonisation and energy transition support.
- Increase the number of companies accompanied by Luxinnovation in their decarbonisation journey.
- Improve the conversion rate from initial meetings to the adoption of Luxinnovation services.
- Expand outreach to new companies to raise awareness and encourage engagement.
- Work closely with key partners to integrate the green transition into broader innovation strategies, ensuring that decarbonisation remains a key pillar in supporting Luxembourg’s industrial ecosystem.
Skills And Qualifications
- You hold a master’s degree in science, engineering, business, or a related field.
- You have a proven experience in decarbonisation and energy transition, business development, or consulting—ideally within the industrial sectors.
- You have a strong understanding of decarbonisation and industrial transformation challenges.
- You have deep insight into decarbonisation and energy transition processes, understanding how innovative strategies and sector-specific workflows can accelerate the transition to low-carbon solutions and sustainable practices.
- You have strong analytical skills to gather, document and prioritize business requirements.
- You can translate business needs into actionable digital strategies.
- You have excellent communication and networking skills, with the ability to build relationships across industries. You can understand the needs and concerns of both companies and other organizations.
- You are comfortable speaking in front of large audiences, engaging them effectively and maintaining their attention. You listen attentively to questions or concerns, address needs with clarity, and tailor your presentations and content to the specific audience.
- You demonstrate adaptability in evolving environments, maintaining a positive, problem-solving attitude. Your proactive mindset enables you to anticipate challenges and drive solutions with confidence and efficiency.
- You are dynamic, results-oriented, and proactive - ready to take ownership and drive change.
- You can work well with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English and French is mandatory both spoken and written, knowledge of Luxembourgish or German or is a plus.
- Management skills are required.
